What should I practice first?
- 01Start with a steady sound on B♭ and F in 1st position. Take a break when your lips get tired.
- 02Learn the positions for C, D, and E♭, then practice them in Brass Trainer.
- 03Play those notes in simple rhythms, like four quarter notes on each one.
- 04Once you can play a few steady notes, try matching your pitch with the tuner or drone. Your tone will keep improving a little at a time.
