What should I practice first?
- 01Start with a steady sound on a few easy notes. Take big, relaxed breaths, and take a break when your lips get tired.
- 02Learn the fingerings for your first few notes, then practice them in Brass Trainer.
- 03Play those notes in simple rhythms, like four quarter notes on each one.
- 04If your euphonium has a 4th valve, learn what it does. It makes some low notes easier to play in tune.
